My parents purchased a home in N.Y. Almost as soon as we moved in things began to happen.My mom had someone tap on her shoulder,my sister and i experienced an ashtray pick itself up and fall of the dryer(not running),I seen a little bald headed man in my moms rocking chair.Then to top it all off my mom and i saw and heard the same things one night.At first i was scared because i didn't understand why we were being visited,then later on we acknowledged it was there but it became a part of our lives.

My mom and i accepted it for what it was,dad was skeptical but never outright denied me or my mom,my sister saw a couple of things but would pick at me and mom.One night after my sister got done picking at me and mom and calling us names,she got paid back! We had all gone to bed and the next thing my sister came runnung and howling out of her bedroom.She says she was falling asleep when cold hands grabbed her ankles.She stopped picking!

The moral of this story is that if it does not hurt you and it does not scare you,leave it alone!If you have a small child or children that have seen the ghost,explain why the spirit is there.Let your child know that it is not there to hurt but maybe to protect and guide.Mine was there to protect and help me understand my gifts the other was there because of the house and wanted to let me and my mom know it was there coinciding with my family.
